Planning granted for two detached dwellings in Polzeath
We are happy to say that planning permission has been granted for two detached dwellings in Polzeath.
Design Development Ltd have been involved on this project since 2014 in one form or another.
We designed the original scheme on behalf of our client on an empty site, close to the beach front in Polzeath, and planning permission was granted for two semi detached dwellings in November 2014.
Since then we have produced a full working drawing package and put the project out to tender.
Unfortunately, due to the economic downturn, the project was put on hold.
We were re-approached by the client at the beginning of 2017 and we were asked if we could redesign the site to make the two dwellings detached, whilst also maintaining the same level of accommodation.
Given that this is a small site, this was quite a challenge, however we were able to design a scheme that met all of the above criteria.
We are pleased to say that a new planning approval was issued by Cornwall Council in March 2017, and we look forward to seeing this project move forwards in the near future.
